    Correct incompatible connection limits

    ASPL 0.7.0 · Current release

Native only. Correct incompatible connection limits, with exact supplied sources, requirements, commands and outcomes.

    Prepare the native host

No network peer or TLS files. Lowering outbound_connections to 1 without lowering the default 16 idle slots returns http.invalid_argument; setting both to 1 succeeds.

Follow the deployment guide for certificates, CA selection, working directories and the complete upstream workflow.

Follow the HTTP guide and API reference. Keep the original filenames and the modules of the selected source variant. Save Arabic and English variants in separate directories. TLS inputs are supplied by the reader, with no bundled certificates or keys. No other data assets are required.

    Commands and outcomes

    ar:

    aspl check ar/limits.aspl
    aspl run ar/limits.aspl
    aspl build -o http-limits-ar-program ar/limits.aspl
    ./http-limits-ar-program

    en:

    aspl check en/limits.aspl
    aspl run en/limits.aspl
    aspl build -o http-limits-en-program en/limits.aspl
    ./http-limits-en-program

Run these commands from the parent of the separate ar/en source directories. The program checks the incompatible configuration refusal and its correction without starting networking. Success has no output and status 0. Expected outcome details above come from the catalog. See the HTTP collection.

    Historical normative scope

    • Historical specification, English source

Historical MVP foreign-operation background only; native HTTP and explicit serving/state APIs are later extensions audited against published 0.7.0, not MVP requirements
