Begin without installation

You can start without programming experience. Open your first program in the browser and read the source and output. Changing the documentation language does not translate source, user names, or strings.

Learning path

Begin with output and reading errors. Continue through bindings, arithmetic, conditions, loops, functions, text input, numeric parsing, strings, lists, records, recoverable results, and virtual files.

Lessons are independent. The path ends with a one-file arithmetic quiz in the browser. Afterward, you can choose native installation and learn about source modules. Browse fundamentals examples as you learn.

Start with first output and diagnostics, then bindings and arithmetic, conditions, loops and functions. Each supplies a complete program, a prediction, a small change, a hint and an explained answer. Self-checks store no grade or progress and keep navigation open.

Next, text input teaches prompts, unchanged replies, empty lines, EOF and Stop. Numeric parsing uses a result template to retry invalid integer text. Strings joins names and formatted numbers, then counts and slices Arabic text by scalar positions.
